Super Simple ideas
Ever thought about drawing or painting on your phone case, but didn't want to take the risk? I know how you feel. Before you create these you'll need to buy a clear phone case. It doesn't have to be expensive, just a cheap one will do.
Design with Ease
Don't risk it! Here are some ideas. 2 DIY phone cases and a DIY pop socket.
Your very own design
For this case you'll need:
- a clear phone case
- a piece of paper
- some textas (or other stationary)
- scissors
- a black marker
Firstly draw an outline of your phone or case. Then draw a design with pencil so you can erase it if you want to change something. Your design can be a drawing, a realistic painting, or even just a picture of yourself or your dog! (if you are using a picture cut the case out of the picture and place it in the case.) When you are happy with your design go ahead and start colouring it in. After you are done outline the outline of the drawing (if that makes sense). Once you are happy with how it looks, cut the paper out using the outline of the phone case and then place it inside the phone case. There you have it, your very own phone case!
Fuzzy phone case
For this you'll need:
- phone case
- faux fur
- hot glue gun
- pencil
- scissors
Firstly flip your fur so that the furry side is facing down. Start sketching out the shape of your phone case. Pay attention to all the little holes and camera hole. Same as the buttons. Then once you are satisfied with the product cut it out including the little holes, buttons and camera hole. The fur can be a little messy so be sure to pull out all the loose strings. To make it look cleaner brush out the fur to make it look cleaner. Brush it all to one side and cut the part hanging over the edge. Once you are happy with it line up the template with the phone case and glue it down with hot glue gun. Hey Presto there you have it!
Pop Socket
For this you'll need:
- a little cabinet door knob
- a hot glue gun
- some textas
- lead pencils
Firstly get a little cabinet door knob and sketch your design onto it. Once you are satisfied with your product, colour it in with textas. Once you are satisfied with the pop socket, hot glue it onto your phone case. A bonus is, if you paint it all white and than add a pupal and iris, draw on a eye lid and attach a fake eyelash!
